The FERASI Centre has been created in September 2001 as a response to the awareness of importance of organisation of nursing services for health care delivery.

An adequate organisation and administration of nursing services has a significant impact on the quality of health care provided to patients.

The FERASI Centre draws upon close partnerships with decision makers to ensure an appropriate training of nursing administration researchers and, in the long run, foster a renewal of the nursing administration practices

The FERASI Centre's activities are developed around the following themes :

• Nursing services organisation,

• Health policies and nursing practices,

• Nursing workforce development,

• Knowledge transfert.
