The FERASI Centre is pleased to invite you to its next conference to be held on November 19, 2010, at the hotel Gouverneur Place Dupuis, Montreal. The conference theme will be: «Reinventing accessibility to health care: Exploring new models for Quebec». This conference will bring together researchers, decision-makers and all stakeholders interested in the organization of nursing care and health care, particularly those interested in innovative models of care delivery in primary care.

To better address issues of accessibility for their citizens, countries with public health systems and other canadian provinces have adopted innovative structural models known as nurse clinics. These clinics facilitate the access to primary care, in addition to being interconnected with other services.

The FERASI 2010 conference offers an unique opportunity to examine a range of issues related to the implementation of nurse clinics in different contexts: policies and legislation, scope of professional practice, and mechanisms for professional and interstructural collaboration.
